We go thru life,
we live
we laugh
we love…
We get hurt
and betrayed
and one day we don’t care anymore
Just so we can’t be hurt anymore
And we keep our distance
and we keep to ourselves
and we don’t even realize how numb we are.
We meet people
We are with someone
and then without them
It’s no big deal,
until someone we didn’t expect to ever walk thru the door to our life comes in one day
And suddenly it all comes back.
The sun is brighter
The moon is fuller
Life becomes again what it was and we lost without knowing it
And we wonder
How was I even living
Before we met.
