Ever wake up in the middle of the night and say, “OMG! It all makes sense!”
A peace settles over your smiling face. Your eyelids get heavy and sink over starry eyes. You snuggle back into the pillow and dream sweetly until the alarm goes off.
You get out of bed with a terrific feeling of accomplishment.
Standing in front of the mirror with the toothbrush hanging out of your mouth and toothpaste foam dripping down your chin, you realize…
You have no idea what you dreamed.

Shh! Do not tell Lizzie I am running naked with scissors whilst she sleeps. I am hoping to have it fixed before she gets up to brush her teeth. ❤ Just our little secret, okay?
Dream Lizzie, keep dreaming. That terrific sense of accomplishment is being you. xxx
Yeah I dream almost every night and by morning they’re mostly forgotten.
Bah! Humbug!!! LoL!!!
God Bless!
Prenin.
Sweet dreams, Lizzie!
I have written at least a dozen classic novels a a hundred great albums in my sleep. Solved world hunger and invented a star drive. Often while going to work without wearing shoes. I like dreams…
Yes the dreams…It’s strange when I was in a depression I remembered the dreams but afterwards ..now I can’t for the life of me remember….bugs me no end…Diane
Waking up in the middle of the night and
nipping down for a strawberry jam on toast
snack is okay though… Then a nice cup of
hot chocolate with… but then I woke up 🙂 lol
Have fun tonight Lizzie 🙂 xx
Definitely would rather have that than waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to return to sleep … (That happened to me last week, so I spent a few hours cleaning a finished room in the basement.)
oooooo…. who is that causing Lizzie to have these little moments of dream clarity? I say, go with the feelings of pride and accomplishment. It’ll come to you – perhaps the great endeavor was performed in another dimension where Lizzie is a hero – good reason to be proud!
🙂
If I could live out loud the dreams I keep what a master I would be! Love this post! 🙂
