An Important Lesson in Garbage, Mid-Afternoon Mental Moment

Today’s Mental Moment is on a Whim, inspired by discussion on my morning post.

A bit of nostalgia, but also a public service message reminding us all that taking the garbage out… is a necessity.

Next time you think you may not want to take the garbage out, or you are sick and tired of nagging the kids or other person in charge of waste removal, just show them the story of this stubborn little girl.

It outta get things moving pretty quick.

Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout,    poor misinformed little heathen

Enjoy!

To your Mental State, Whatever it may be…

Lizzie Cracked (not broken)

THe poem is in the book Where the Sidewalk Ends, by Shel Silverstein.
