A Question Worth Pondering? Mid-Afternoon Mental Moment

There are so many what ifs in life.

Pondering the meaning of life, for sure.
What if I had a tail?

Sometimes going over the what ifs in our in lives can be frustrating or even heartbreaking, wondering if we would be in a different place than we are….

What if I had applied myself in high school?

What if I had (or hadn’t ) taken that job…?

What if I had chosen strawberry instead of super triple peanut butter caramel surprise ice cream?

Sometimes when we worry about things, the What if game is a great way to ease our mind.  Instead of becoming paralyzed by the what if’s  – we follow them through and see that the things we imagine are worse than the reality of it….

If I don;t so this today then it won’t get done.

Well what if it doesn’t get done?

Then it’s not done.

Well what if it’s not done…?

Ok you see what I mean?  Play the what if game when you are worried about the what ifs in the present and future….(then try a klonopin)

Today I have the answer to at least one great big What if in life…

What if the Beatles,,,were Irish?

Oh- that’s a good one I know…

Enjoy!

  1. Ha Ha! I love this mental moment concept! I don’t think I would mind if the Beatles were Irish because I am a huge fan of the Irish accent! Everybody sounds better with an Irish accent! I want to go to Ireland just to sit around and listen to them talk. Who care about site seeing. You’ll find me just be sitting on a bench in the town square listening . . .with big smile on my face!

What? Go ahead say it... really, all of it. You won;t see me holding back on Your Blog...What?
